The Dome sections are made from organic hemp cloth reinforced with nordic spruce timber. The heated pad and pillow are made from 4cm thick, non-VOC memory foam.
The heaviest component is 8kg and The Dome is adjustable to a length of 175cm. The width is 71cm and the max height is 46cm. The infrared pad is 180cm long, 69cm wide and 4cm thick.
The total weight of all parts is 20kg.
The Dome parts can easily be stored away. The infrared pad can be folded in half and the two Dome sections fit inside of each other, allowing them to be put together for compact stowage. The space needed to store The Dome free standing is: 90cm (height) x 50cm (width) x 80cm (depth). You can also transport The Dome in your car easily, pending boot size as per the above measurements.
Using only the highest grade materials The Dome is beautifully hand crafted and built to last. The frame is made from untreated, sustainably sourced Nordic Spruce, to which we fit our exclusive True WaveTM hybrid carbon and ceramic heaters. The cover is made from organic hemp.
The heated infrared pad is made from non-toxic memory foam and is fully waterproof. The portable sauna Domes are extensively tested for VOCs (volatile organic compounds), to ensure zero toxicity, making The Dome suitable for people with high chemical sensitivity.
The portable sauna Dome uses our patented low EMF exclusive True WaveTM hybrid carbon and ceramic, far-infrared heaters, identical to the heaters used in our sauna cabins.
Our heaters are a hybrid of 95% carbon with 5% ceramic compound to increase the intensity of the infrared heat.
The carbon in our heaters produce long wave infrared heat that penetrates deep into your body, and at a wavelength of around 9.4 microns - which causes 'resonant frequency' with the body and is optimal for detoxification. The addition of our proprietary ceramic compound produces a substantially higher infrared output when compared to a traditional carbon heater alone. Ceramic has a high emissivity rating. Essentially you're getting a high output of high quality infrared heat.

Using our exclusive True WaveTM hybrid carbon and ceramic, far-infrared heaters, the portable sauna Dome provides identical health benefits to that of our cabins but in a compact and versatile fashion. The Dome is the perfect solution for those with limited living space or for travellers.
We also offer the same Clearlight(R) Lifetime Warranty on all our portable sauna Domes for home use, for an additional piece of mind.
Here is a video that will give you a closer look at what the portable sauna Dome can offer.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer chromotherapy for our portable sauna Dome as it does not align with the product design. The only possible option would be to have it placed over your head. It would be too bright for your eyes and does not make sense if you are enclosed in it in the cabin environment.
Setting up your portable sauna Dome is very easy and takes less than five minutes.
Step 1: Lay the infrared pad on the ground, placing the two Dome parts above it. The surface needs to be level and firm, for instance the floor or a massage table. The portable sauna Dome should not be used on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa. The control unit plugs into a standard power socket.
Step 2: We recommend placing one or two cotton or natural fibre towels between yourself and the infrared pad to soak up any sweat.
Step 3: Once you're all done, simply wipe down the infrared pad, fold it (don’t roll it) and store flatly. The bottom section of the Dome slides into the top section and you can have everything packed up in a matter of minutes!

We recommend letting the portable sauna Dome heat up for 5-10 minutes prior to your session so that it’s nice and warm for when you begin.
You can of course start your session immediately at the moment the heaters are switched on, they will begin to emit therapeutic infrared.
There is no ‘typical’ sauna session as every person is different, so as a broad guideline, we recommend using your sauna 3-4 times per week for a duration of 30-60 minutes per session.
If you are new to infrared therapy or suffer from compromised health we suggest starting slowly, with shorter sessions at lower temperature and monitor how you feel during the course of the day. When comfortable one can slowly increase session lengths and frequencies as your body adjusts.
The portable infrared sauna Dome will be effective when running at a lower temperature level, so it is best to use it at a temperature that feels comfortable to you rather than focusing on getting it as hot as possible. Should you feel too warm during your session, you can slide the top section of the portable sauna Dome down to allow some cool air in, and then slide it back up.
It’s very important to stay well hydrated, drinking plenty of water before, during and after your session. You may wish to have an electrolyte rich drink to replace any salts and electrolytes lost during your session.
Like with any new health regimen, we recommend discussing any concerns with a qualified medical professional before use.

This depends completely on your comfort level - with infrared therapy, temperature is a secondary factor when it comes to gaining health benefits. As long as you are exposed to the heaters, your body will absorb the infrared wavelengths, even at lower temperatures. Regular use and duration of your session is more important.
The same principle applies to the infrared pad, you decide what feels right for your body. The infrared pad can be controlled separately from the Dome parts.
Yes, definitely! We have many customers who use the infrared pad exclusively.
The portable sauna Dome consists of three sections (upper Dome, lower Dome and the infrared pad), and each section can be individually controlled.
For example, you could just use the lower section of the portable sauna Dome to target your legs or target only your back by using the heated pad.
The versatility of the portable sauna Dome provides you with whole body therapy or the option to target a particular area.
It’s totally ok! As mentioned above, the temperature is not the determining factor for infrared therapy. The main benefits come from being directly exposed to infrared.
If you feel too warm during your session, you can slide the top section of the Dome down to allow some cool air in, and then slide it back up.
